Privacy Policy
Fiddyo ("we", "us", "our") provides video audience analysis and teleprompter tools through the website fiddyo.com and the Fiddyo mobile app. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and password (stored as a secure hash) when you create an account.
- Videos you upload: video files you submit for audience analysis. We process them only to produce your report.
- Videos you record: when you record with the teleprompter, the recording is saved to your device. It is uploaded to our servers only if you choose "Analyze with Fiddyo".
- Payment data: handled by Paystack (our payment processor). We never see or store your card details.
- Usage data: basic analytics such as which tools you use, to improve the product.
2. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the analysis and teleprompter services.
- To manage your account, credits, and subscription.
- To send transactional emails (receipts, subscription confirmations).
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your videos with third parties.
3. Camera & microphone (mobile app)
The Fiddyo mobile app uses your camera and microphone only when you are actively recording with the teleprompter. Nothing is captured or transmitted unless you press record, and recordings stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to analyze them.
4. Data retention
- Uploaded analysis videos: deleted from our servers after processing (typically within 48 hours).
- Reports: kept in your account so you can view or re-download them.
- Account data: kept while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
5. Your rights
- Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Deletion: request permanent deletion of your account and associated data.
- Correction: update your email or other details.

6. Payments
Payments are processed by Paystack. Your card information is handled entirely by Paystack under their own privacy policy. We receive only the payment confirmation and the amount.
7. Children's privacy
Fiddyo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
